About us

Who we are.

A bespoke individual supported living service that promotes the principles of person-centered planning and working within the current Health and Social Care 2008 Act and CQC Regulations 2009.

We support people to do the extraordinary everyday.

At Stepping Stones, we want to empower young people and adults to live their lives with independence and choice, without being limited by other people’s expectations or prejudices.

We offer work experience, training, skills development, mental wellbeing, activities and general support to those that have been assessed to ‘need assistance’ to meet their personal, social and care needs. Our aim is to enable the people we support to develop their independence skills and allow them to grow to their full potential.

Our mission and values

Stepping Stones Community Living (SSCL) is our latest social enterprise programme and our biggest one yet. Our aim is to foster a sense of community and friendship in an inclusive, stimulating and safe environment that has been set up to provide respite to families and young people while improving life skills and life choices.

We believe in the importance of person-centred planning and the people we support are at the heart of everything we do. When we first meet our young people and adults, we liaise with them and their families to find out what level of care they need and how this should be carried out. These initial meetings will then create a personalised plan for each individual based on their care needs that can fit around their schedules.

We provide a host of different types of support for our young people and adults to enable them to develop their independence skills and become included, contributing members of the community, living completely independently or with minimal support.

We offer respite care, domiciliary care and supported living within our community living environment. We will also provide support regarding work experience, skill development and residential services. Whatever suits your needs, we can offer it through one of our bespoke care plans.
